And then there was our senior year! Four years ago our senior year seemed to be an eternity away But now that it was upon us and we looked back at our Freshman year, it seemed that it was only last year, not three years ago that, we entered CCHS. With the acceptance of our new title “senior,” we had to realize the fact that this was our last chance to make successful and worthwhile time of our years at Central. As the months went by and Prom time neared, it was only a matter of sliding into home plate before that long-awaited day came—Gradua- tion Day, 1963. Looking back on it all we can all say that everyone had their share of work and enjoy- ment during the years spent at Central To- gether with the wonderful acquaintances we- ’ve made and the great times we’ve had, how could we ever forget our days at Central Catholic High School. The leaders we chose for our senior year were: Rosie D’Aurelio, Joanne Garaux, Linda Chaddock, Kathy Korleski. and Dick Noll, Bill Matthews, Jack Hayden. Jim Stockert. and John Ertle. Our senior cheerleaders were Diane Bazzoli, Betty Hambach, and co-captains Mary Ann Hollaway and Carolyn Davis. Janice Karoglan to Nancy Kelly John Keely William Kelly Thomas Kehner John Kennedy Lawrence Kelly Karen Kieffer The year was rapidly drawing to a close, and we found ourselves working with enthusi- asm and energy. There was so much to get accomplished and so little time to do it. Having the highest averages, Lois Cincinat, Dorothy Boerner, Bob Halter, and John War- ner led the class scholastically. Herman Seiser. Richard Kelty, and Jane Kramer were our delegates to Boys’ State and Girls’ State. Jan- ice Karoglan, Chris Beckert, George Nicola, and Bill Moses won the Leadership Awards. With the cooperation of the class and its officers, the Junior dance, “Evening in Paris,” proved to be a delightful experience for everyone. Junior-Senior Class Night carried the theme — “Past. Present and Future.” Lastly, “Colonial Cotillion.” the Junior-Senior Prom, added just the perfect ending to just a perfect year. Then it was over. We suddenly found ourselves scanning the future (three months hence) with a hope and expectation we had never before experienced. Marcia Kinney Joan Klekotka 26
