vg X mf' '4 ,M Homecoming Homecoming was rated by every student as the biggest weekend of the school year. A galaxy of events induced in everyone the needed spirit that helped win the game with the Saint Patricles Sham- rocks. Fach class was in charge of some phase of the festivitiesfthe Freshmen entertained at halftime, the Sophomores gathered material for the bonfire, the juniors organized the pre-game parade, and the Sen- iors decorated the cafeteria for the Homecoming Dance. Yi, +51 5, With football fever at its highest pitch, the Sopho- more class came through in C. C. H. tradition with a bonfire that warmed the air as well as our spirits. The school president, coaches, and co-captains in the light of the burning embers moved both team and spectators to fight for victory. With spirits high on the day of the game, the stu- dents participated in a colorful parade through town. A horse and buggy crealced along leading the pag- cant, followed first by a shaky Model T, and then by the latest automobile models. . 3,1

The election of the Freshman Class officers is not held until the second semester in order to enable the students to become acquainted with one another. Joanne O'Neill. Sec- retaryg Daniel Arnold. The biggest project sponsored by the Jun- ior Class is the annual banquet and prom. James Poole, President: Val Steele, Vice Pres- identz John Koebel. Secretary: and Robert Sylvester. Treasurer. discuss a few of the details, Quality in leadership is the aim of the Sophomore Class officers. Anthony Gambino. Treasurerg Drake Batchelder, President: Ronald Giles.
