ENERGETIC EXTROVERTS can have a place in life even in the Archcon- froternity, especially when their work is directed by Brother Maurice. SOLEMNITY marks the end of each school year as the seniors trek to St. Paul's Cathedral for the annual Baccalaureate Mass. The Baccalaureate Mass, usually held on Memorial Day to enable parents to participate with their sons at Mass and Communion, represents the beginning of the closing exercises of the four years at Central. Font and Fini of Each School Year Rfk FEED THE HUNGRY is the counsel followed by members of the Central St. Vincent de Paul Society, who, under the direction of Brother D. Jerome, regularly transport goods to the little Sisters of the Poor. The donations this year warranted a special note of gratitude from Sister Odile, Superior of the Sisters. UNITING OUR OFFERING with his, Father Malcolm, C.P., Retreat Master, receives the wine and water from Eugene Dice and John Larkin. As has been done for three years, the retreat was divided throughout a week period with the freshmen and sophomores receiving the first two and a half days and the iuniors and seniors a similar period at the end of the week. il! TEACHING CATECHISM in the parishes throughout the Pitts- burgh area that cannot accommodate all possible students in their parochial schools falls within the works of the A.D.C. Here iunior Frank McAnulty, under the direction of Brother Maurice, demonstrates a catechetical technique. 1 UNSUNG HERO, Leroy DiPietro conscientiously performs his regular task of replenishing the holy water fonts throughout the school. Besides this particular chore, the A.D.C. directs religious activities throughout the year that vary from teaching catechism to outdoor devotions. GATHERED in the Brothers' Chapel, the members of the religious activities that function in the school include the Archconfraternity of the Divine Child, the St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Benilde Club, and the St. John Vianney Society. The latter two organizations are designed primarily as vocation clubs.
