Under the auspices of the Most Rev. Coleman F. Carroll, Sacred Heart, with a grade school enrollment of 930 pupils, sends 'l'l4 boys to Central. MAKING A VISIT to St. Bede's, Point Breeze, after a basketball game at nearby Mellon Park are lL. to R.l Jerry Keating, Charles Tyson, Jack Dauer, and John Crowe. Father J. F. Enright is the pastor. The school, which is staRed by the Sisters of St. Joseph, sends a contingent of 75 boys to Central, a large number in terms of proportion. I 1 Are Begun in Pari he AFTER SATURDAY AFTERNOON confessions, two Central- ites, Steve Schultz and Raymond Birch, stop to talk to Father Joseph Fitzpatrick, pastor of St. John Baptist Parish, Twenty-one Seton Hill Sisters of Charity teach daily in the school of 386 pupils. This Church, located in Lawrenceville, contributes thirty-three students to Central High. A SISTER OF CHARITY from the ouse of Mary prays before the altar of St. Brigid's Parish Church. Father Paul Bassompierre, who is head of the St. Vincent DePaul Society of Pittsburgh, is pastor of the parish. I l A . and ouri hed by Faithful Sister BEFORE THE SHRINE of Our lady of Grace on the grounds of St. Raphael's, Morningside, are Paul Keenan and Joseph Boyer. Appointed to the re- sponsibilities of pastor is Father S. A. Doyle. During the current year, this parish has had 98 of its parishioners attending Central. The grade school is staffed by the Baden Sisters of St. Joseph. AODERN ARCHITECTURE has stablished itself on the Central cene through the bright, up- o-date church recently erected ny the long established parish f Corpus Christi. Vincent, Brother G. Vincent, and Very Rev. Monsignor Thomas J. Quigley. A MOMENT TO REMEMBER in the life of Brother Demetrius James, our Silver Juhilarian of last December, was the privilege of having his mother share in the testimonial of Brother's twenty-five years of service to the Lord as a Christian Brother.
