LOOKING BACK During iheyear 1978-1979. people have come and gone, with triumphs and defeats. Lucerna 79 is. I believe, one of the triumphs. Through many hours of tiresome work and diligent effort put forth by those who cared, this yearbook has become a success. I he theme “Take a Closer Look” was developed to encourage all of us to go beyond the surface, to try to capture the spirit of Central Catholic, to see the people who make it what it is. On behalf of the staff. I'd like to thank the Faculty and Administration for their cooperation, especially on the days of picture-taking and threatening deadlines. Special thanks go to Marvin Mayer of the Taylor Publishing Company for his assistance, ideas, and advice.
