At CC our teams are tough. Remember Matt Hainje making that last second shot and you couldn ' t believe your eyes when it went in? Who could forget the look on Korean Har- less ' s face when she blocked that Jeff spike? And what about the time Dominic Halsmer intercepted a pass from the opposing team. These people were depended on — but it ' s not just indivi- duals — it ' s the team that makes the season worthwhile. Individuals at times aren ' t sure of themselves. Sometimes their confidence is low and they don ' t think they ' ll be able to handle the pressure of the upcoming game. But a team brings the individuals together as one and suddenly everyone is confident and sure that somehow they ' ll be able to pull off At times you may not have felt so tough-like when you weighed 125 lbs. and the weight class you were to wrestle in was 119, or when three starters fouled out early in the third quarter but you tried to stay tough anyway. And then the time the spirit water didn ' t seem to help and the team got beat — bad! The toughness of the CC team, was tested many times this year, but we proved that when we were down, we never gave up and when we were up we were determined to stay there.
