Since math is the language of science, this sub- ject helps them to understand their chemistry courses better. Kathy O'Connor explains the meaning of the slope formula to Beth McKay. ond Science This year Consumer Chemistry has been added. In this subject, the students study how the principles of chemistry apply to foods, clothing, and articles around the home. In the academic course in chemistry they learn the basic principles of inorganic chem- istry and complete the year with a taste of qualitative analysis.
