The New Testament increases class interest as it is full of the sacrifice and perseverance of the early Christians. The Religious training we receive in school is the most important part of our lives It prepares us to face the problems of the world with prudence and honesty for the loxe of Almighty God It binds us in a close relationship with our fellowman fellow worker em ployer or friend Ideal citizens are those who obey Gods laws As we take our place in the material world of today we must be ready to cope with numerous difficulties There will be people who will try to make us believe that there 15 no God and that our Church IS senseless The faculty foreseeing all the dangers we will encounter strive to gulde us on the right path by giving proofs of our God and Hrs Church jack Haughn and Jean Hatke light the candles of the Advent wreath in their religion class The circle of the wreath represents the everlasting The Advent wreath bears four candles Often three of the candles are purple signifying the three penitential Sundays The fourth candle is a pink one for the third Sunday in Advent .
