Contents Faculty Page 6 Seniors Page I2 Underclasses Page 26 Student Life Page 50 3 Dedication As headmaster of Central Catholic High School, Father Reilly has earned the admiration, the respect, tl1e loyalty, and the friendship of the members of the faculty, of the student body, and of the entire school personnel. The maxim of St. Francis de Sales, 'fOne kind word wins more willing service than a thousand orders of stern reprooff, aptly describes the policy by which Father governs the school. A kind, yet just, appraisal' of every situation creates a rapport between Father and his associates which results in a communica- tion of his high educational standards and lofty spiritual ideals to youthful minds and hearts. Through our contacts with Father Reilly, we, the class of 1963, have been inspired and encouraged to strive to attain those goals which will draw us closer to Cod and equip us to meet with fortitude the problems of an adult world. In appreciation for your encouragement, your kind advice, and spiritual counsel, we gratefully dedicate to you, Father Reilly, our beloved headmaster, spiritual advisor, and friend, this volume of The Katholikon. 4 X X X S X , ,XX X Mn N, 5,,,,, -wvuyg Faculty l I I 2 1- Firm hands That guide those who falter Kind hands That comfort those who fail Wise hands That point to Truth and Knowledge Loving hands That embrace all in the Eternal Goodness F irm Kind Wise Loving The Hands of the Faculty 6 1' I If 1,1 ff!!
