This is a phrase often used by the students to describe the school cus- todian, Mr. Leon. VVithin a week after his arrival at Central, Mr. Leon had won the friend- ship and admiration of every faculty member and student in the school, and as the year pro- gressed, Mr. Leon proved himself deserving of their commendations. 59 The delicious and nour- ishing meals served by the cafeteria staff often sup- plied the energy necessary to carry us t h 1' 0 u g li a weary dayf, With their unlimited patience, their b o u n d le s s energy, and their friendly and cheerful manner, these women have endeared themselves to all of us. N APPRECIATIG Doctor .Paul I. Dugan As team physician, Doctor Paul 1. Dugan administered to the sprains, breaks, and abra- sions of our athletes, and saw to it that they Were soon back in the fray. For his expert medical care and for sacri- ficing his time to come to school to give injec- tions that helped keep the entire student body in good health during the past year, Central Catholic owes Doctor Dugan a vote of thanks. Doctor Ernest Getto voluntarily served as faculty physician, and we can thank him for the part he played in keeping our teachers healthy, happy, and wise. In promoting the paving of the road that leads to the school, Doctor Getto practiced the ounce of preventionv method of maintaining healthy young bodies by removing causes of contamination.
