Central Catholic High School forges ahead in carry- ing out an educational program which will train Cath- olic leaders for World Peace under the inspiration of our Director lrightl Rt. Rev. Msgr. Leo Gregory Fink, V.F., our Principal llower Ieftl Rev. Henry .l. Huesman, M.A., and our Vice-principal lupper leftl Rev. Harry C. Hynes, J.C.D., and the faculty including twelve Sisters of St. Francis, six Sister Servants of the Immac- ulate Heart of Mary, five Sisters of St. Joseph, four Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart, two School Sisters of St. Francis, six Priests, and six Laymen. In September, 1946, eleven hundred fifty students repre- senting forty-five parishes were enrolled. Since the enrollment is steadily increasing, the two buildings, Monsignor Masson Building lleftl, and Rockne Hall and the Administration Building lcenterl, and the five classrooms in the Nerz Building are not large enough to accommodate the classes. Therefore, a third floor comprising three regular classrooms, chemistry and biology laboratories, a suite of rooms for the Home Economics department, Secretarial, Typewriting, me- chanical drawing, art, and faculty meeting rooms, is being added to the Administration Building. The eleven hundred eighteen alumni members are now reorganizing into an active group since the boys have returned from service. They plan to carry out a social program which will enable them to keep in touch with the school, and to uphold the standards and ideals of their Alma Mater. .nada
