Central Catholic High School has been especially rich in people who crave action,-people who are never quite satisfied with things as they are - people who have had the courage and enterprise to face forward, no matter what the cost may be in hard earnest work. You will find here a simple straightforward record of Central Cath- olic's participation in the great task of educating and training more than six hundred of An1erica's Catholic Youth. Here is a complete account of our resources-spiritual, human and material -and how they are being mobilized to meet the demands of American Education for war, and for the peace that follows. Our newly erected administra- tion building, our massive gymnasium, our expanded curri- culum in the Held of industrial arts, mathematics, and pre- flight aeronautics are indicative of the fact that Central Catholic has linked arms with Uncle Sam and is out to reach new heights On the Educational Front, with our faculty, our underclassmen and our Seniors Recruited for Actiong in Extra Curriculars that are Democratic, and On the Field of Friendly Strife in the world of sports.
