Qagwee Ifiadketfhaii Great though the record of our varsity may he, our small fry, the jay- vees boast of even more enviable accomplishments. Going into this sea- son, we had unbroken skein of victories spreadeagling two years. Un- fortunately, we were unable to keep this streak intact, dropping a heart- breaker to Punchard by one point, and this in an overtime. VVe avenged this defeat in our second encounter by a -L2-18 win. Now we have initi- ated a new winning streak which we intend to keep rolling in the years to come. Our final record this year was 21 wins and 1 loss. Most of our wins were moderately large spreads, but there were a few really close ones. XVho will forget that second game against St. Johnts of Concord, when we just sneaked in under the wire in the final seconds with a one point win. h A Our varsity has always depended on its Junior Varsity for new materi- al. XVe can premise quite a supply of talent to work with next year. As a matter of fact, for the latter part of the season, Bro. Leo topped oft' daily practice sessions with a scrimmage in which the varsity tusselcd with the jayvees, and we gave them a good battle every time. Introducing our hallplayers, we give you: Bob Sacuzzo- Our tall rangy center .... incredibly good hop shot .... our fastest man .... our high scorer .... he hit top torm in the first St. Johnis of Danvers game. . . .we expect big things of him next year.
