l... to R. D. Schelling, R. Habib, G. Lane, M. Moran, R. Twomey. N. Twomey, E. LaRiviere, P. Raymond J. Keegan, B. Smith, R. Leslie, Hackney. Tl1Elt,S the story. ,Great credit is deserved by Bro. Leo Vincent, our coach, for putting such a well-trained, high-spirited and hard fighting ball club on the court this year. ln our books hets tops. May he have many more championship teams. VVe must not forget our faithful manager, .lim Degnan, and his assist- ants .lim Kennett and Bill Donohue, and our timekeeper, Ray Pellerin. They did a fine job and all the boys on the team appreciate the hard work they put into their jobs. We cannot extol too much the feats of our individual stars. On the court they were a credit to themselves and their school. They had class, played as a team, never gave up and were best when the pressure was on. Individually, they are: Neil Twomey- Our big Captain .... high scoring center who racked up 325 points in regular season play .... never ruffled .... an amazing soft shot was his forte .... won the McGuinness Trophy as outstanding athlete in New England Catholic Schools .... he saved us in those two Malden Catholic games especially. . Ray Leslie- second best guard on team .... great team player .... set' up most of our plays .... plenty of heart .... best games were the two regular season tilts with Malden Catholic. Myles Moran- best guard on our team .... hardest tighter, . . .a great competitor .... the best game was the St. .lohn's of Danvers setto when he tied up the game in the last second of play and 'then won it in the overtime. Bernie Smith- our diminutive guard .... another great team man .... noted for his down court one hand push shots .... in that Garden game came through with two beautiful baskets to clinch our victory.

' Joe Keegan- another of our fighting forwards.. ..popular with the crowd ..... always there with a basket when needed ..... was best in the first Concord game, also in the final against Boston Latin at the Garden. Joe Hackney- a great competitor .... plagued the offense with his ball- stealing .... was all over the court. . . .best man on teamfor pick-offs. . . . best game was the second contest with Concord. Ed Rivers- Twomey's big understudy .... rarely got in the game unless Twomey was hurt, but had a world of spirit .... when he did get in, gave a good account of himself .... best shot was from the pivot. Dick Habib- responsible for good spirit on teamq .... a hard fighting guard ..... best shot was left-handed push shot ..... best game was that first Concord game. Don Schelling- our substitute forward. .... world of ability ..... very fast and cagey .... should hit the high spots next year .... next year's co- captain. Roger Twomey- Neil's little brother. . . .the darling of the crowd. . . . will we ever forget that second Punchard game .... next year's co-captain. Paul Raymond- very fast and deceptive .... good guard .... saved us in that first Concord game when Myles went out on 'fouls .... should be great next year. V
