R. 0.T. C. The R.O.T.C. and F.A.C. were again under the direction of Capt. John W. Gaume, with the able assistance of M Sgt. J. C. Wilder and Sgt. R. M. Hodges. The unit made its first public appearance at the Christ the King procession on October 28. It paraded at the half during several of the Buttons' football games. Cadet Col. Jimmy Lynn, assisted by Cadet Lt. Col. Newton Mitchell as Adiutant, commanded the regiment in the Krueger Day, Community War Chest, Armistice Day and Battle ot Flowers parades. Federal Inspection was held on April 3. Field Day was sched- uled for May 14 but had to be cancelled with the closing of all San Antonio schools in the polio epidemic scare. Capt. John W. Sgt.
