THE PROM WAS: MASS, DANCING, BREAKFAST The 1972 Prom, Day Is Done, was held at Cut- ter ' s Chalet on May 26. This year ' s theme was the same as the first prom held 34 years ago. The juniors and seniors worked hard to raise enough money by selling suckers and lightbulbs, and collecting newspapers, but the biggest boost came from the Mother ' s Club, who donated $1,000 so that the expense would not be too much for the juniors and seniors. The coordinators were Jona Rauch and Becky Kohrman. During the week before the prom, nominations and elections were held for the two courts. The junior court was announced as Julie Hofer, Carol Zollinger, Terri Jones, Tammy Derloshon, Kitty Houser, and Mary Harber. The senior court was Mary Beth Jackson, Sally Laguna, Sarah Gebhard, Judie Seibert, Meg Emmett, and Jana Rauch. Midway through the even- ing, Carol Zollinger was named as queen of the junior prom, and Sarah Gebhard as the senior prom queen. Dick Brown ' s Orchestra played for the prom, and Weinfair played for the senior after-prom at the FOP hall. Top — Folher Walker distributes Communion at the Moss before the prom.
