Tfte Mnca 1 sUfo i - TH mic , 7t. During the year of 1959, Central Catholic High School lost a teacher, coach and friend, Mr. Ralph Manny. Mr. Manny was an alumnus of C.C. He was impressive as a student and graduated high in the class of 1950. In his athletic career he was above average. He ployed hard and was an asset to the teams he played with. He was a member of the team that holds the school record for track relay in 1950. Mr. Manny was also a member of the all-city football team. He received the Knights of Columbus award as the athlete with the hig h- est average. Upon his graduation he served in the Coast Guard for three years. He then began his college work at Mississippi Southern. He was beginning his career as a teacher-coach at C.C. when God called him. His death was a blow to Central Catholic. The faculty and students will not forget him. Though he was here for such a short time, his friendly smile was a familiar sight to all. Central Catholic has lost a wonderful man and God has gained a precious soul. Mr. Ralph Manny may you rest in peace.
