Then the most talked of game of the year arrived. Central Catholic played the South Side Archers, where they suffered a disheartening defeat by one touchdown. This was followed hy a victory over Indianapolis. Throughout the season the Irish had won seven games, tied one, and lost two. Under the expert coaching of Mr. Sullivan and Mr. Miller. together with the splendid teamwork of the players, Central Catholic had the honor of having six of the boys on its squad placed on the All-City Team.
