Father has made progress in such a way that would demand attention from all. Thanlts to his direction. Central Catholic can well he proud ot the hand and orchestra it possesses. 01 Father lxliller was ordained on ixlarch I6. 1029, and since that time has gained much practical experience in the line ot music. Previ- ous to his ordination, Father attended St. Lawrence High School and College in Vvisconsin. Through choir worli while a stuctent, Father developed his lmowledge ot and taste tor music. For nearly seven years while in ixlichigan City. indiana, the direction ot the Senior Choir. Band and 0rc't1estra was under his care. He also acted, while in lvlichigan City. as chaplain and second assistant. His next assign- ment was that ot Catholic Chaplain at the lncliana State Penitentiary. Then he came to Fort Vvayne, where in addition to his worlc at Central Catholic. Father is very enthusiastic about his worlt at Saint ixlaryts. He has developed the CYO and done much to gain the interest ot young people in dramatics. lslnder Father lxtillerys pleasant supervision. the spiritual lite ot Central Catholic can do nothing lout tlourish-tand our hand and orchestra will continue to progress., BIARY ALYCE FOLEY ln the Fall ot '57 a Notre Dame man came to Central Catholic to till the coach- ing position. ln the short time since then. in the years '39 and '40, he has produced two championship teams which won tmottl State and National Catholic titles. From the tew friends he had when he tirst came here, the numtner has increased greatly. . He has gained the admiration ot hoth players - and students at Central Catholic. Scores ot lnaslcethall lans acclaim him as the lnest ot coaches. As tor appearance, it is enough to say that he is a handsome man ot imposing statute, lit to serve as a model tor the hoys he trains.
