Father Robert I-limes This year Father was the Senior boys homeroom instructor. The teaching of World Problems and U.S. History uti- lized Father'steaching talents. Also, he was occupied as an assistant coach for football and basketball. Father Christopher Breen Father Breen is our counselor, and a good friend to all. He is also moderator ofthe Pioneers ofthe Sacredl-leart Club. Mr. james Moritz Mr. Moritz is the first of Yakima Cen- tral's alumni to return to us as a quali- fiedteacher. He added his efforts to the English department and to glee club training. Mr. Richard Kayla New to the staff this year, Mr. Kayla has taken on the taskof baseball coach. I-le also teaches General Math, World Geography, and P.E. Mr. jess Cruzen Mr. Cruzen has served Yakima Cen- tral and its students well in his ca- pacity as football and basketball coach. Also he is well recognized for his talent as an English teacher. Mrs. Eleanor Blackwell Mrs. Blackwell gave of her time to teach girls' physical education to freshmen and sophomores. We thank her for her patience throughout the year.

'--.M ' Sister Mary Rita, O. P. Sister has the Very difficult task of Director of Studies - this keeps us in the right class and right course, and leads us correctly for college. She also teaches Bookkeeping, General Business, and Shorthand. Administration Father Donald F. McDermott Father fills the double role of Headmaster of YCCHS and Diocesan Superintendent of all Catholic Schools. Despite the burden of these roles Father did teach Senior Religion andtwo years of French. His directive guidance for students cannot be over-estimated. Father joseph j. O'Grady Father O'Grady came with Yakima Cenixal and he is still with it. This ever-presence leads to a certain security among the students. Father's tasks include Director O f D is c i pl in e and handling classes in Religion, Algebra, and Mechanical Drawing. Sister Mary Virginia, O. P, Sister's efforts in the teaching of Typing , French, and Shorthand make these classes a real credit to the School. With allof this Sister is also Dean of Girls.

S ister Mariellis Sister Mary Albertine This year Sister was the Senior girls' homeroom advisor. She also taught several periods of Biology and Gen- eral Science. Her great work in the science field has enlightened the minds of many of her students. To the students who take Algebra or Geometry, it is known that Sister is somewhat of a portable computer. Along with the math she handles classes in Religion and also the Glee Club. Sister was also Sophomore girls' advisor. Mrs. Mitchell Kulik Ask the junior or Senior girls who Mrs. Kulik is and they will tell you that she is their all-around home economics instructor. Mrs. K. also lends her talents to the English de- partment. She handles the Girls' Pep Club and Drill Team also. Sister Mary Lourdina Sister is the Librarian at Yakima Central and the advisor of the Library Club. She teaches classes in Religion and English also. Sister Mary Francene Sister directs the junior girls during homeroom and spends the remain- der of the day teaching English and Spanish. She also is the Sacristy Club advisor. - !5Waiz1Hm.-JBIQYR
