Graduation Brings Responsibilities On June 7, 466 seniors will proudly enter the Sports Arena to take part in the climax of their high school years. Though graduation ends an important phase of life, it also commences the entering into adulthood. After receiving their diplomas, the new alumni con- fidently anticipate a successful future knowing that Central has provided them with the necessary training. -154 As spring appears a major event takes place for both faculty and students. In appreciation for her guidance, lVlary, our lVlother, is honored at the annual lVlay Crowning. During the con- vocation the rosary is recited followed by a sermon encouraging devotion to the Blessed Virgin. Bishop John A. Donovan, presiding at his first commencement in Toledo, proudly presents the coveted Bishop's Cross to Tim Galvin. Each year this award is given to a boy and girl who have best shown their excellence in religion throughout their four years in high school. um nh in honor of Mary. Bidding their final farewell to high school life, the '68 graduates enter the Sports Arena on June 7 awaiting their diplomas. Their education will enable them to prove their usefulness and ability in all they endeavor.
