Page 4 Dedication Frequently, when We speak of a school We mention its faculty and student body, omitting the men and women Who are necessary in maintaining it. In Central, though not in the classroom, these men and Women devote their lives to our Catholic education. One, such person, is Miss Catherine Schubert. Miss Schubert, who came from Good Shepherd, is herself a graduate of Central. Here, as a senior, she edited a column for the Centric, was the girls' sports editor for the Centripetal, held the position of class treasurer, and was a member of the Mission Society. She also captained the girls, varsity basketball team, and did a gypsy dance in the senior class play, t'Peggy. As Monsignor Harrington's secretary, Miss Schubert has shown an active interest in the school, the faculty, and the student body. Many of her suggestions for Central's betterment are in effect today. The words of Christ, As long as you did it for these, the least of My brethren, you did it for Me, apply Well to her. And so, as you have dedicated your life to Central Catholic High School, We, the Centripetal Staff, dedicate this, the 1958 Centripetal, to you, Miss Catherine Schubert.
