Stritch, D.D. The young blood that flows through his veins carries that boundless energy that has earned for him the reputation of a master builder, not only of stone and concrete, but a builder of minds. He is an outstanding educator. The organization of elementary, secondary, and teacher- training schools in the Toledo diocese is second to none in the United States. When we realize the great debt that the Catholics of the city owe to him, we feel that we cannot be too warm in our grateful appreciation. Gift-D OUR LEADER From the dawn of earliest civilization, the world has had its leaders. The example of great individuals in various fields has always attracted the attention of those sensitive to the spirit of emulation. To one of these leaders, Rev. Raymond G. Kirsch, the seniors of Central Catholic High School find it ex- tremely diflicult to pay adequate tribute. During the past four years Father Kirsch has been not only our leader but our personal friend, ever ready to help us in both our spiritual and our temporal problems. He has shared our trials and our successes in a Christ-like way. His keen interest in the education of youth is supported by a spirit of patience which never wavers. He has set us an example which each one feels is going to be a personal inspiration in every step of life and a great aid in moulding our lives to ideals of true Catholicity. Gift? OUR ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL The Assistant Principal is a much-admired man at Central. Assistant, yes,-first aid to students, teachers, and principal. In his perennial kindliness, in the difficult task of disciplinarian, in his boyishly enthusiastic support of the activities of the school, in his friendly understanding of the difficulties of the principal, he is an assistant who is an assistant. ,lg ,V ' Zbv-....
