From primitive man and his surroundings to the atomic age and its problems-this vast scope of time is covered by Central's history program. Projects on ancient Egypt attracted annex freshmen. American and modern European history enthusiasts enjoyed several instructive films. Breaking the pinata, a Christmas custom of gay Mexico came to lite for Spanish lll students. By means ot a PAS. program soph- omores ot Latin ll class portrayed many ot the customs ot the ancient Romans. lnterest in the Berlin election and the cold war prob- lem ot Berlin gave material for many interest- ing discussions to German ll students. As is the custom at Central, French students enter- tained the student body at a well-planned spring assembly. Berlin election results provides a new field of interest for German students, W.
