John Savage has assumed an important role in forming future ambassa- dors of Catholic Action. West Philadelphia Catholic High School for Boys claimed him as a graduate of the class of 1954. He then matriculated at Saint Josephls College, where he majored in accounting. 1958, his Senior year, found him captain of the varsity basketball squad. He found an outlet for his athletic adeptness as coach of the Freshman football and Junior Varsity basketball teams here at Central.
