The preprofessional class welcomed Dr. Sylvio Barra as new instructor while Dr. Edward Stoebenau, Jr., succeeded his father as school dentist. For the faculty the free days promised an enlightening, but hardly a vivacious interlude. The Central faculty members were among 12,000 Catholic educators who met in Philadelphia, for the N.C.E.A. convention, April 8-11.
