Reverend Raymond J. Leichner With the close of his third year as principal Father Leichner became blueprint conscious, and he grew even more line-design fervent during the '55-'56 cycle. Last summer Father transformed a negligible piece of lawn near the garage into three spacious classrooms, with bigger an' better entrances for the Test Tube and Treble Clef Departments. This year the blue sheets crackle as he pours over plans for covering the old marching field across Eckert Avenue with more study areas. Thus far the empty lot is in the surveying stage, but with Father's verve the next few months will see things happening over there. Reverend Henry J. Huesman As long as Catholic education continues to flourish in the city of Reading, building projects must go on. And Father Huesman is the one to keep the engines rolling. His tremendous energy, keen intellect, and priestly zeal fit him snugly into the niche of pastor of St. Paul Parish and rector of Central Catholic High School. Father Huesman came to us in October after the death of Monsignor Wachter. Previous to his ap- pointment here, he served as rector for two years at the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Catasauqua.
