He likes La Magnita cigars. He likes chicken, too-but not chicken a la king! Art and music figure in his cultural tastes. Now and then the co-founder and principal of Central Catholic High School takes a busman's holiday. Serving on examining committees, assisting at dedica- tions, broadcasting on the radio-all play a part on the extra-curricular agenda ot a very busy man, Reverend Charles Allwein. This year Father served as vice-chairman on the Committee of the Middle States Association evaluating Harrisburg Catholic High School. He later filled the post of chairman on a committee appraising the scholastic efforts ot Linden Hall, Lititz, Pennsylvania. Since its foundation twelve years ago, Central has grown considerably in size, enrollment, and prestige. To the man responsible for that expansion, we say: Sev- enteen salutes you, Father Allwein! Reverend John .Wachter It Central has helped us to handle that explosive piece of dynamite called growing up, it it has changed our liabilities to golden assets, we are indebted to the Pastor of St. Paul Parish. The financial backing supplied by Father Wachter and his parishioners did somersaults to keep our Alma Mater in the running. Now that we are graduating-confident, mature, and embarked-may we express our gratitude for the secret cargo that made our trip through Cen- tral a successful one.
