Dr. David H. Spahr, Principal Dear Graduating Senior, At this point in your life you have had numerous experiences that come with living and learning. These helped form you into the person you are. This invest- ment in time, energy, and effort will pay you untold dividends as you begin a new chapter in your life. Each day is a day of preparation for the future. We know not what tomorrow will bring. We do know those lasting values of honesty, integrity, and trust that will equip each of us to meet the unknown with cour- age and optimism. Every person individually must choose to apply or not to apply these qualities to their life style. Correspondingly, one must have faith. Faith in tomorrow, faith in our fellow man and above all, faith in God. lt is this faith that turns the darkness into light . . . That gives us hope when we need it most. It has been said that to live is to learn. We learn in order to make wise choices. Your education at Central Bucks West has given you an opportunity to experience decision making in many ways. All of us make choices and many times we make mistakes. Perhaps you have heard me say, lt is not wrong to make a mistake . . . it is wrong to disregard one. Another way of looking at it is this. A mistake is not a mistake unless one chooses to do nothing about it Your life thus far then has afforded you the op- portunity to learn, to choose between alternatives. What about the future? Remember, life is choice. Choose well. Each choice is brief, but endless. Sincerely yours, David H.
