Special Education An important part of the high school program is the Special Education department. Headed by Mr. Blosky, the students spend much of their time in Room 7. They pursue subjects which will be of use to them after they graduate: calculative mathematics, current events, and tax problems. They study physical education, home eco- Mrs. Fry, assisted by various teachers, is primarily concerned with supervising the study halls. Held in the cafeteria or in the auditorium, study halls aredesigned to give additional time for review, for pursuing advance homework assignments, or for significant reading. Stu- dents may use their study hall time for research in the library or may browse in the paperback book stall in Jack T. Blosky Special Education

Goodman Guidance Counselor Guidance Under the direction of Miss Nailor, the guidance counselors: Mr. VVilliams, seniorg Mrs. Porter, juniorg and Mrs. Goodman, sophomoreg supervised, directed, and supported the scholastic efforts of the students of Central Bucks. Homeroom periods, assemblies, and individual con- ferences were the tools used to direct the students' scholastic endeavors. Generally, the efforts of counselors and students achieved college acceptances and employ- ment positions, which produced both smiling faces and high expectations for the year to come.
