Board of Education Reorganization was the key word concerning the School Board this past year. A new Board of the Central Bucks School District, now known as the Interim Operating Committee, will come into effect Iuly 1, 1966. Responsible for kinder- garten through twelfth grade, this Board of nine members plus four non-members - Treasurer, Secretary, Solicitor General, and District Super- intendent-is designed to replace the former forty-seven member Central Bucks joint School Board, represented by its Joint Executive Committee. Working closely with the administrative and teaching staffs, the Board has consistently dem- onstrated what interested community members can contribute to a school such as Central Bucks.
