-. K Y.- fs, :sig wx, ,P . Pi ...k vs , V fifzaegi var, f at ,sz ,Ji .2 Marcus Aurelius once said, Every man is worth just so much as the things are worth about which he busies himself. Christ said, As a man thinketh so is he. Down through the ages the great wisdom of these revered teachers has been echoed again and again to tell us that if we would be great and good we must focus our attention on the things of life that are great and good. Although the compleat man has a broad spectrum of interests and possesses a variety of talents and skills, the source of his success can usually be found in the fact that he learned to concentrate his ambitions on a central point of importance in his life. Iust as you cannot take a clear photograph unless the object is in focus, neither can you achieve a full life in any venture unless you focus all of your best energy and attention on that which you would accomplish. When the path is in clear focus, the journey is well begun. Mr. lack L. Livingston Senior High School Principal Dr. B. Anton Hess Distnbt Superintendent ...X , .... ...M 5 .- . Q l F illa ' -V X, The theme of a yearbook should serve to strengthen the purpose for its publi- cation. When time has passed and high school days become a clouded reminis- cence, the pages of your yearbook may become the focal point for revived mem- ories of the happiness and value of your high school education. I strongly hope that this Antler will also focus the at- tention of every senior and every under- classman on the worth that his learning and activity experiences have made for the challenge of tomorrow. ,Q 5 ,. ,fa 'airing Mm -ramif- t-fel? -vQ.f..'F A if Y' .E it in .. ,
