FORE ORD During the past three years, the class of 1956 has received many intangible keys to a richer, fuller life. Looking back at the doors these keys have opened, We realize how invaluable they have been to us in enjoying and appreciating our high school years. They have led us through many class activities-our studies . . . cheering our teams on to victory . . . our clubs and service organizations . . . and our dances and parties. These keys have been given to us by the faculty and administration and we, in the role of leaders in our school community, have tried to set an example for the under classes to follow. We feel that the theme-Keys to a Richer, Fuller Life-is a most appropriate one to symbolize our life at Central Bucks. EDWARD SMITH REGIONAL SUPERINTENDENT Keys to Knowledge To the Seniors of 1956 . . . Human beings everywhere seek keys to many things-keys to success, riches, fame, the good life. One of the most sought after is the key to harmony with the moral and spiritual laws of the universe. 'Clues to the possession of this precious key can be found in the simple prayer found on a tablet in an old cathedral in England. Give me a healthy mind, good Lord, To keep the good and pure in sight, Which seeing sin is not appalled, But finds a way to set it right. Give me a. mind that is not bored That does not whimper, whine, or sigh. Don't let me worry over much About the fussy thing called I. Give me a sense of humor, Lord, Give me the grace to see a joke, To get some happiness from life, And pass it on to other folk. Godspeed to each of you in finding the key to the good life through faith in God, self discipline and service to mankind.
