Under the leadership of Janice Snyder, presidentg Susan Poole, vice presi- dentg Judy Ofuer, secretary, and Frieda Mourey, treasurerg the club has also been collecting food for needy families. Mrs. Lynaugh is the sponsor. Doing for others is the aim of the Junior Red Cross Club. With Ellen Cosner as president, Pat Trippe as vice-president, Barbara Kritler as secre- tary, and Mary Lou Kendall as treasurer, the club has been very busy hlling and sending Red Cross packages to many countries abroad. r lla, Do Unto Uther TRI-HI-Y-Left to right: C. Lewis. t 'sta .2 V V 1 The Bible Club, led by Mr. Frederick, began this year by electing Joanne Camburne, presidentg Esther Ward, vice-presidentg Ruth Ann Gilbert, secretaryg and Greta Schroeder, treasurer. First Row: R. Lutz, J. Kneise, T. Wiley. The boys of the Wrestling Club wish to de- velop interest in wrestling for a future varsity team. They learned the fundamentals of the sport by hold- ing short bouts during club periods. Their sponsor was Mr. Heacock and ofhcers were Tell Schreiber and John Davis as president and vice-president. WRESTLING--Slanding, left to right: T. Schreiber, C. Fairfield, D. Winton, H. Rose. Kneeling: P. Corson, N. Biggs. The Varsity Club was established to promote junior high athletics. Under the leadership of Mr. MacFarlane, they spent club periods discussing and practicing the various seasonal sports. The officers were: president, George Denneyg vice-president, Robert Tomlinsong secretary, William Clarkg and treasurer, john Elfman. The purpose of the Athletics Club was to keep boys not able to play on varsity teams active and interested in sports. With Mr. Breme and Mr. Mil- ler as sponsors, their officers were: president, jim Knieseg and vice-president, Charles Nevin.
