Their primary interests were travel, talent, and safety. Much time was devoted to plan- ning the field day which was a memorable event for everyone concerned. Even though the seventh graders were very busy getting acquainted with the school and each other, they also had time for a host of other activities. Their program included parties and gatherings. Their sponsors have worked toward making them realize the important task of planning for successful years in the future when they will be called upon to be the leaders in our school and nation. This year the Junior High Student Council showed its pride in our school by donating five hundred dollars for shrubhery in front of the school. They earned this money in their very successful magazine campaign. The council sent delegates to the Tri-County Convention at Fountain Hill High School in December and to the convention at Coun- cil Rock High School in March. They helped the Senior High Student Council by cooperating with them on the Lost and Found and the cafeteria problem. In February they participated in the Light Vp' campaign for lights for Memorial Field by handling all ticket sales in the Junior High. In Feb- ruary they also sponsored a dance called Cupid's Twirl. They were also responsible for getting trash cans for the bus-loading zone. Q-W '-su-.
