His devout Christian character is ever before students as an example to as- piring youth. Though busily occupied with the duties of his office, other activities of the school find a prominent place in his schedule as well. Because of years of vital relationship with the Lord, he has an acute con- sciousness of the holiness of God. Exhorting students in chapel, he attempts to bring them to an equal awareness of this holiness of God, that their lives might be used in His service. Students appreciate his affability when they come to him for consultation, or as they meet him in the halls or on the campus.
