BAND RECEIVES TWELFTH CONSECUTIVE FIRST The Centerville High School Band has again nad a very successful year. It played at the aome basketball games and presented winter and spring band concerts. This year Centerville was sost to a four-band festival which will probably me an annual affair. It also marched in several parades. For the twelfth consecutive year the band brought back a first division rating from the contest held at Knightstown. Mr. Miller has done an excellent job during his first year at Centerville. We are proud of him. MIXED CHOIR IS STARTED AT CHS For the first time in many years we have a mixed choir. It has performed at various meet- ings, school functions, and programs. The choir made a splendid showing in the contest at Knightstown in which it got a rating of excel- lent. New robes were purchased near the end of the year, this will help make our choir one of which to be proud. This year we also have a jr. girls choir. 18
