Superintendent’s Message I To the Seniors: The most memorable year of your life is drawing to a close. The Administration sincerely hopes this has been your hap- piest year. Commencement, to some, means the close of a school year, but to you it will mean the beginning of a new life. Whatever career you may pursue: college, the service, law, medicine, nurs- ing, or other, there are some rules to remember. There is no set formula for success but among things that help are: (1) To trust in God and live accordingly. (2) Love and respect for your family. (3) Don’t be afraid of hard work; it is sometimes called old fashioned but is still essential. (4) Remember, to have good neighbors you must first be one. (5) When unable to say something good about people, say nothing. (6) Reputation is what people think you are, but character is what you really are, so don't fool yourself. The Administration and Faculty wish you the best in life. When we can be of help, we stand ready. (Au Revoir) To the Students: Take good care of your copy of the 1966 Annual, as time passes it will become one of your most prized possessions. Clifford Shriver While we students may fail to acknowledge and cer- tainly to show our appreciation for the countless hours and numerous tasks performed by our Board of Education, we are aware that these efforts by you are for us—the students.
