Senior Wills We, the members of the Senior Class of 1965-'66, in the town of Center- ville, and state of Missouri, being of sound mind and body, do hereby declare that the following is the last will and testament to be made con- cerning these matters: I, Linda Baker, will my ability to talk through my nose to Mr. Duff. All you have to do is close your mouth and talk! I, Jerry Barnes, will my ability to be quiet in Mr. Power's class to Alfred Martin. You need it Martin! I, Margaret Chitwood, will my long hair to Grace Sutton. Good luck Grace-you'll need it. I, Phillis Dement, will my ability to be serious to my brother Gary Dement. Good luck Gary. I, Carol Radford, will my ability to wear dirty tennis shoes and be late for all the ballgames to Mary Linda Ruble. Good luck Mary. I, Rosemary Santhuff, will my ability to forget everything important to Grace Sutton. How else do you expect me to get rid of it, Grace? I, Jeanie Sutton, will my ability to run home after ballgames to Mary Linda Ruble. I, Cheryl Tate, will my mathematical mind to Clarice Chitwood. Study hard Duke-math is easy. I, Janet Tindell, will my sense of humor to Miss Cunningham. Good luck Miss Cunningham. I, Carolyn Voyles, will my White Tight Collar to all the girls who were always looking over my shoulder. I, David White, will my ability to come to school late every morning and not get counted absent to Elmer Ruble. Keep my record good, Elmer. I, Diana Ziegler, will my ability to sleep in class undisturbed by any- thing that is going on around me to Mary Linda Ruble. Don't let me down, Mary Linda. [ 16 ]
Senior Prophecy Linda Baker is still driving around Centerville. She always stops at Bowles Service Station for gas on credit. I wonder if that’s the only reason she gases up there? Terry Barnes still has hopes of marrying Beverly Casteel but after two years he has just got permission to walk her home from church. Good luck! Margaret Chitwood is still saying she won't marry but it seems that there is a rumor going around that she is to be married in May. To whom no- body knows. Phillis Dement is now married to Archie Austin and they are living on Beaver Creek. Archie makes Phillis sleep in the hog pen every night. Carol Radford is now married to David Ashlock and they live in Lock Hollow with their twelve little Ashlocks. Rosemary Santhuff is now married to her fifth husband. What's wrong Rose? Can't you get along with them? Good luck with this one. Teanie Sutton - The year is 1968 and Jeanie is still driving around in circles in front of Flat River College waiting for one certain person to walk out the door. Chervl Tate is still single and is going to college at Turtle Creek. Her future plans are to get married. To whom? No one knows. Tanet Tindell - The year is 1970 and Janet is still cruising around town. She has made Centerville a drag strip and with her as the head drag. Carolyn Vovles and Gerald Ebert got married with Carolyn in her size eight dress. It was a beautiful wedding even with pink rice and eight bridesmaids. David White is now married to Sandy Warner and lives on a sheep farm near Centerville. Sandy is trying to get him to sell his sheep but David says they're his pride and joy. Diana Ziegler and her newly acquired spouse, Mac McMurry just spend their married life cruising over CHS in his airplane. Keep those seat belts fastened. [ 17 ]
