Every senior I have ever been privileged to know has said something on this order to me: Yes, I’ll be glad to graduate, -but- In every case the senior has let me know certain things concerning being a student would be missed-student fellowship, athletic and scholastic participation, the orderliness of the school happenings. — even rules; and certainly not the least of all things missed is the learning of useful information or education. To those students I would like to say that the Valedictory is not a farewell; rather it is a welcoming, a welcoming of life and its challenges. To one who has prepared well in school, these challenges are a help, not a stumbling block; and life’s experiences and battles hold no alarm for him. Godspeed. Barbara Pyrtle-Co-Editor Angela Ruble-Co-Editor With love and respect we dedicate this years Annual to MR. OBY TATE, a loyal friend who is always ready with a helping hand and cheerful smile. The Seniors Zhe Annual Staff of Centerville High School Presents Zhe 1965 Bulldog We the Annual Staff of 1964-65 wish to thank the faculty and the students for your help and co-operation to make this annual possible. At her last interview she was quoted as saying, I do not play for my looks; I play for the pleasure of giving lectures. 0O0 Luingene Amsden-We now find Luin Amsden slaving over a hot still . He doesn't seem to make much profit because he drinks it faster than he can sell it. 0O0 Virginia DeMent has finally married that Air Force guy she has been waiting for so long.
