Superintendent's Message The publication of an annual climaxes the final year of a phase of life for a student. He is finished with public school studies and is now ready for more serious studies— college, trade school, or practical experience. If he has applied himself well to the first phase of studies, this second phase is easy and simple; if he has failed to apply himself, the second phase is anything but easy, and the opportunity for early prep- aration is lost forever. PATTY JO BOWLES v 1 1 We, the members of the Senior Class of 1963-64 in the school of Centerville High, in the county of Reynolds, and the state of Missouri, thinking we are of sound minds and able bodies do hereby declare that the following is the last will and tes- tament to be made concerning these matters: I, YEULA POGUE, will my long legs, small waist and natural pearly teeth to Angela Ruble, Good Luck Angel and hold on to those pearls while riding in the red ford. I, SHELA POGUE, will my aches and pains after a volleyball game to Mary Anna Pogue. I hope you enjoy the fun you have when you get those aches and pains as I did. I, PATTY BOWLES, will my ability to get along with the Lesterville boys to Judie Greco. Good Luck Judie. I, SHARON BARNES, will my ability to read a book every three years to Gail Pogue. I, ROBERT MARTIN, will my ability to get along with the girls to David White. Good Luck with the girls Dave, you sure will need it. I, KENNY BOWLES, will my ability to drive fast and get away with it to Junior Mendenhall. I, ELDON BARNES, will my ability to get along with Mr. Duff on the way to a ball game to Luingene Amsden. Don't throw too many paper wads Luin. I, JOHN MIMMS, will my ability to jump to Alfred Martin. You had better lose a 12 little weight around the waist first Alf Senior Prophecy John Mlmms announced his engagement to Sharon Sue Barnes. They will be married in five moons. How long is five moons, John? Patty Bowles is now married to Mr. Bill Barnes and they live at Redford with their twelve kids which were all born at Blackberry Pickin' Time. Shela Pogue is still following Mr. Brunk around begging him to let her play volley- ball again. She couldn't help it if she over slept and Troy made her stay home and milk ole Jerse the cow. Robert Martin is now in Slop Holler, married to the famous movie star, formerly Lula Belle Stout. They are the proud parents of two lovely children. Robert is often seen around the pig pen with Mary Greco helping him slop the hogs. Eldon Barnes is now living in Jackson Holler. Since Doris thought his ring was too heavy, he married Linda McNail much to David's regret. Linda says, This ring is not too heavy. Yeula Pogue and David Garner are now living in a sod shanty in Ruble Holler. They have two sets of triplets, a color TV, and a new limousine ( with the tires spun off ) to haul their children. Kenny Bowles is still attending C.H.S. He attends every volleyball game and chases a different girl every night. Jeanette gave up years ago! Sharon Barnes the ever determined girl, has finally hooked her man! Lucky John Mimms. They have the perfect marriage. They fight morning, noon, and night.
