It has been a great democratic institution, It has been a major instrument in our com- munity for bringing together allof the chil- dren of all of the people and for helping each to take his place as a contributing member of our democratic enterprise. In nearly forty years of very close con- nection with Centerville High, l have seen the school grow in perspective and creation. There has been a steady growth in the of- ferings to meet the needs of a changing world. May it never become static but al- ways mobile and continue to serve as it has for eighty years. On CHS! 1 E.
