C radualed seniors talve time to look over the new '36 lllaelt Diamond. I., to ll., XV. Hailey, ll. Xvarren, Nl. Powers, ll. Ilowdish, I.. lflarlv, S. llolmson. Seniors Close With u Profitable Year The 116 members ol' the senior class ehose their leaders by electing the Prolctariat party to office. Under the guidance of the officers, lfrank Sconzo, joe XValker, ludy NViles, and 'lanan Strandherg, the class was organized into companies and began to look ahead to a senior trip in May. A chili supper, a Big Reds vs lfaculty basketball game, the Teen-Time Talent Show, the Senior Class Play, and several other projects fattened the treasury enough to finance a memorable trip to Chicago. lfarly in 17ehruary, C.I1.S. was represented in the speech contests hy Mary Powers, who gave an interpretive reading, and Rosemary Parsons, Penny Hill, and Roscoe Daniels, who presented a one-aet play. A little later many seniors were occupied with preparation for the music contests. ln Xlay the juniors feted the seniors with a magnificent prom followed by the traditional all-night parties. NVith graduation came many new and mov- ing experiences for the seniors. Governor Hoegh's remarks at graduation brought to a close a way of life that would return only in the memories of the class ol' 1956.
