Listen, my renders, And you shall hear Oli the wonderful events, ln my Freshman year. 'Twas on a Septemher morning ln thc year of '25, l went to school a mournin' And hardly got home alive. The boys were there with paddles :Xnd l had to await my turn. There raged a iiercer battle, liven than that at Hull Run. 'llhey held the annual Mixer, And mix l hope to shout! The Freshies sure were sore, Before they did get out. Next we held il Freshman meeting ln the South-hall after school. lVe elected our class oflicers, And two class teachers, too. MY FRESHMAN YEAR 00+- Mary Catherine was elected President, Himie Yoxman followed suit. Bob l'll'aw, Secretary and Treasurer, To take good care of our loot. Miss Green was elected teacherg Mr. Harter was chosen, tow. They help put on the class plays, And hold us together like glue. On Hallowe'en we had a party, And we all had plenty of fung But they served such Holy doughnuts They wouldn't till up a hum. So it's from nine in the morning, lfp until four o'clock at night, W'e are raving on C. H. S. Fightl Fight! Fight!
