NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY OFFICERS President ----------- Janet West Vice-Presldent- - - - - -Sandra Stevens Secretary ---- - - -Cynthia Koshko Treasurer- - - - - - -Donna Triozzi THE NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY Our National Junior Honor Society members must be of high scholastic ability have proved to be good citizens, have per- formed various kinds of school services, have been elected to positions of school leadership or volunteered for responsible tasks, and in addition must have shown evidence of possessing exemplary qualities of character. Early in February the annual initiation ceremony was presented before the entire student body. The initiation rites are always impressive. Janet West, President, and other members of the National Junior Honor Society take time out from initiation plans to smile at the camera. The Initiates present a variety of expressions, chief of which is a pleased realization that they have achieved a coveted honor. In the spring, everyone longs to be outdoors, and the Honor Society takes off for Swope Park and their annual picnic.
