Their sponsor, Mr. Bland, sees to it that the Latin Club members come to realize the profound influence the language of the Romans has had upon our own language, just as the culture of those who spoke it has left its imprint upon our customs and laws. Early in February the annual initiation ceremony was presented before the entire student body. The initiation rites are always impressive.
