This group of lads below is caught by the camera as the boys share their growing know- ledge of coins with new found friends. This seems to be fun but they are in earnest, too, as can be seen by the intent expression on each face. To the right is a regular meeting of the coin club. There is no problem with inattentlon or boredom here. This ls for keeps. Here Mr. Ellis introduces some coin collectors to the science of numismatlcs. Members of this club are part of a fraternity that is world wide. N Y 1-g rkfr To the left are shown the boys who were the charter members of the coin club. They didn't know it at the grime, but an offshoot of their club meets daily ln the faculty lounge. Even the coffee money bank gets raided by the men on the hunt for a coin to add to their collection. Mr. Buford Ellis sponsors the club, and he shares a lifetime of collector's lore with his appreciative boys These Boys Begin A Lifetime Hobby
