This is the first year for the Spanish Club. They have done many things during the year. To begin with , the members learned how to make tacos and enchiladas. At Christmas time a party was held where the pinatta was broken that the group made earlier. A trip to Papa Juans was a real experience because the girls ate authentic Spanish food. The last outing of the Spanish Club was a picnic in the park. Each member brought a Spanish dish. Below left: Peggy and Susan pour the drink- called orange batida. Below right: The girls can't wait to start eating. Y The art department has done many interesting projects this year. Top: Donna displays her ability in mak- ing pottery. Frank, Mark, Gary, Mr. Butschi, Mike, DeW ayne, Richard, and John surround their snow sculpture. Bottom: Barb, Jayne, Donna, Pam, and Carol relax after a hard day in class. Gary McNeil, Peg Carver, Donna Hough, and Cindi Bauserman left C.P. for 6 days to tour the U.N, in New York. They listened to semi- nars and had the chance to see Fiddler on the Roof on Broadway. V X' 1 We Lonnie Warwick from the Minnesota Vikings was the guest speaker at this year's Athletic Banquet sponsored by the Lions Club. Mr. Paul Roseberry and Mr. John Schwiebert are seated next to Mr. Warwick while fans eagerly wait for an autographed picture. Righty This year's Spring Fashion Show, put on by the Home-EC classes, had a little varie- ty in costume. Cheryl H,, Sue L., Roberta K,, Barb S., and Carolyn K, modeled these out- fits. Below: The senior girls, Donna B., Kathy D., Susan B,, and Kathy B., had a class in child care. Mrs. Pepin has just finished demonstrating the proper way to bathe a baby. She attended the State Youth Power Conference after being chosen on the basis of a detailed project she wrote on food nutrition. Here Carolyn took a trip to Washington D,C, for 5 days.
