f I , ' I i 7 D 5 l BOARD OF EDUCATION Members of the Board of Education are: Mr. John E. Hoopes, Mr. William Brandt, Mr. Robert E. Morgan, Vice- president, Mr. Walter R. Simpson, President, Mrs. Linda Kinton, and Mrs. Sandra Kauffman. DMINISTRA TIUN The Board of Education is made up of six elected patrons of the Center School District. They and the admin- istration work together to make the rules and policies b which the dis- trict is governed. They also establish the tax levy, and approve the bills and salaries of Center personnel. One of the newest programs involving Center South was the Coordinating Learning Experience, better known as CLE. This was planned by the administra- tion and passed by the Board. lVlr. Richmond, the superintendent said his goal for the year was to try to the best of his ability, and do every- thing in his power to maintain Center District's re utation as being among the best in the area. page 86 Don Richmond, Superintendent of Schools.
