CCCPERATIO A KEY TO SUCCESS Coach Speise was very impressed with his team this year. He remarked, They had the best record in at least the past 10 years. But records aren't every- thing and they don't tell the whole story. The boys were very unselfish they la ed an osi- , P Y Y P tion asked of them. They did it for the team not for their own personal pride. Their attitudes towards ev- erything were good. I was impressed with the great amount of cooperation and hard work. But not every- thing can turn out perfect during the season. Matt McCain, our best lineman, injured his arm in scrim- mage before the season even started. After the first game, the only defeat of the season, some of the team became worried. But Glen Sands and Marcus Easterwood had confidence in the team. They both said, We won't lose anymore games. And they Q didn't!
